While Michael Weatherly did fans the courtesy of letting them know he was leaving CBS Bull at the end of the season, which also meant the end of the show, at the time of the announcement, it was only January and the end did not seem so close. In reality, Bull had the honor of being the very last CBS show to air a finale this television season. Fans and cast have had months to adjust to saying goodbye to Bullbut that didn’t really make things much easier when the finale happened, especially since Weatherly himself has spent the last week sharing memories and entertaining fans by sharing messages from him -even without pants on set.
Among the first posts the Bull actor shared ahead of the finale, there’s a funny one about the actor who appears to be reading a script while relaxing without pants on set. We’ve seen plenty of the likes of Tom Holland go without pants during the pandemic for things like Zoom interviews, but it looks like Weatherly has taken things a step further and tried it on at work.

Amusingly, he also joked on the post saying “goodbye” to his Bull Pants. And I guess now fans have the answer to age-old “boxers or briefs”? question.
However, not all of his looks on the final days of filming were so fun. The Bull The actor also shared a “secret” set with the fanbase. Apparently he’s having trouble with some of the longer monologues in legal drama and they’re recording the dialogue for him. It seems to be a common problem for Weatherly, who says it will likely be part of his future as well. (Maybe maybe even a future that will see a Tony DiNozzo NCIS come back?)
One last glimpse of what the past/future looked like. I wish I could memorize that stuff, but I’m pretty sure I tried. Pretty sure. #bull @BullCBS GOODBYE! pic.twitter.com/VVFMNs0I8kMay 27, 2022
And in case you need an adorable moment to complete the picture, the actor also shared a photo showing his son, Liam, wearing his Jason Bull glasses. There is a chip from the old TV block right there. Plus, there’s something about kids with glasses that are too big for their faces that draws me in every time.

Bull wrapped its sixth and final season last week on CBS. His last episode — and we are going to get into some spoilers — was a bit of a surprise, given that Jason Bull ultimately decided to break client privilege and announce that a client was guilty, which obviously put him out of work. In his absence, Chunk and Marissa have stayed on to run the scientific trial enterprise, but that might be a bit difficult considering what happened.
Of course, we’ll never know, because it’s a wrap for CBS’ Bull and quite a few other shows that were canceled this season. As for what’s next for Michael Weatherly, Geneva Carr and co. we’ll just have to wait and see.
