F1 returns to the streets of Monaco this week after a two-year gap after the flagship event was canceled for the first time in 65 years last season in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton enters the race after having had his best start to the season, registering three wins, a second place and one fastest lap in four races for a total of 94 points.

But with Red Bull rival Max Verstappen finishing second in three races and winning the other, the cost of a single mistake remains high.

With difficult overtaking in Monaco, Mercedes and Red Bull will be eager to see Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez qualify as close as possible to the championship leaders.

McLaren, meanwhile, will travel to the Principality in a superb unique livery. with the bright blue and neon orange colors of sponsor Gulf.
