‘Law and Order’ fans fume on NBC over Mariska Hargitay and Chris Meloni’s new ad

Law and order fans would like a word with NBC.

On Feb. 13, hours before the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals kicked off Super Bowl LIV, NBC aired a 30-second ad that pissed off Law and Order: SVU and Law and order: organized crime the viewers. In the clip, Law and orderit’s Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni, The voiceit’s Kelly Clarkson and America’s Got Talentit’s Terry Crews gather to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday together when they come across a bold NBC ad.

“Ted Danson. Maybe, the no. 1 reason why NBC is America’s favorite network,” one announcer said. But TV personalities immediately disagree.

“Ted Danson? It should be Terry Crews running on this thing,” Terry said. “Come on, NBC! I’m like in all your shows! commented Kelly. “You’re both awesome, but I’ve been on this network for 23 years. I mean, seriously? Mariska joked. “What a bunch of…” Chris added.

But as the four of them go off on TV, another person appears after Ted – actor and comedian Kenan Thompson. Unsurprisingly, it doesn’t go well.

After seeing the NBC ad in a commercial on Twitter, fans of several shows wasted no time in voicing their opinions. That said, Law and order people were perhaps the most passionate, and the show voiced their support as well.

It’s good!!! I have to go with Mariska and Chris!! ♥️♥️”, someone else tweeted.

Meanwhile, others showed up for Terry and Kelly. “We agree with @terrycrews. ✨,” AGTwrote the official Twitter of. “After all, NBC stands for Nothing But Clarkson 😏, right @blakeshelton?” a fan tweeted.

Favoritism aside, many viewers were on the same page about how much they enjoyed it. “Without the Super Bowl starting, NBC won the best ad. I mean @Chris_Meloni and @Mariska may have helped a little,” someone wrote. “This is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂,” another added.
