Two beloved Will Ferrell movies are heading to Netflix

With several iconic comedies over the past two decades, Will Ferrell has established himself as one of the world’s most beloved comedians. Many of his films from the 2000s became instant classics, comedies that moviegoers continue to rewatch regularly to this day. Next month, a few of these movies will be coming to Netflix, making it even easier to rewatch them.

On Wednesday, Netflix released the full list of movies and TV shows making their way to the service during the month of July. This list was filled with exciting acquisitions and long-awaited originals. Among this group were two popular Will Ferrell films: Old school and Semi-professional.

Old school continues to be remembered not only as one of the best of Ferrell’s career, but also as one of the films that made him such a household name. Todd Phillips’ nearly 20-year-old comedy was originally released in 2003. Eight years later, Ferrell starred in Semi-professional, playing basketball player/coach/promoter/owner Jackie Moon. Although Semi-Pro is not considered the same as Old school, it’s still one of Ferrell’s most-cited to this day. Fans of the comedian will definitely love to see both movies coming to Netflix.

These two Ferrell films aren’t the only titles added to Netflix on July 1st. Here’s the full list of new additions arriving earlier this month:
